Purpose and responsibilities: To provide Paralegal / Admin Support to our Senior Lawyers:
- Assist Senior Lawyers with day-to-day operations of files/clients management
- Manage various databases of information
- Prepare documentation for court, client meetings and general correspondence
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Criteria:
- Organisational ability
- High attention to details regarding data entry
- Computer skills in Microsoft office suite, word and excel a must

Corney & Lind Lawyers is looking for an innovative and driven Associate Lawyer to join our busy Litigation team in our Herston, Brisbane office on a fulltime permanent basis. You will require significant experience in a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters. Experience in other areas such as Commercial and Employment will be looked upon favourably.

About the Role:
Our team continues to get busier, and we need more hands on deck!
We are looking for a full-time experienced Associate with at least 4 years PAE in Litigation. This role will enjoy a broad mix of work including contractual disputes, lease disputes, monies owed disputes, anti-discrimination law and administration law. You will require significant experience in a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters. Our clients range from schools, charities and SME’s to individuals.
The team is very collaborative, flexible, and fun – we enjoy working hard while maintaining a true work/life balance. It is therefore important to us that the successful candidate is personable, approachable and inclusive.
Depending on your seniority, you will have the freedom to maintain your autonomy while being well-supported and having supervision access needed. The Team Lead is James Tan (Director). The role has an immediate start. Remuneration will be according to experience.
About you:
You will require a significant experience in a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters, dispute resolution and court proceedings. Your strengths will include , client relationship development, team work and an ability to remain calm under pressure. An in-depth applied knowledge of the UCPR will be essential. Experience in employment related matters would be highly regarded.
